After a month of traveling and site seeing we’ve landed in Varkala, Kerala. It's low season at this cliff-top beach town and so the place is quiet, thanks to the forthcoming monsoon. We checked into InDa Hotel for three days and have been here for three weeks. Our first week was so rainy that locals were suggesting the monsoon had come early. What better opportunity to kick back and catch up on some mix playlists that have been sitting untouched for years.Given the rain and grey skies, I homed-in on something reflective to begin: a selection of deep house grooves originally compiled in November 2013. But this isn't miserable, cold, London rain. It’s hot, humid and thundering. In fact, the steamy weather you hear in the mix was recorded from the terrace of our bungalow here at InDa.
