Dj Noël - Latest Mix Sessions

Here’s bunch of tunes I purchased on Beatport and then mixed immediately last night.A friend, Eva, sent me a clip of Funky Green Dogs’ classic ‘Reach For Me’ via WhatsApp. I went to play it only realised I didn’t have it... So, off to Beatport, where, of course, I was distracted by new releases too.Part two of the story is much more mundane. We were supposed to be hosting a Christmas party for 70 people last night but had to cancel the day before because I did my back in. Typical. Stuck at home feeling grouchy, Eva’s intervention and a little music shopping inspired me to reach for the headphones.This session is the result, mixed live in one take, with ‘Reach For Me’ at the heart of it. I only made one small edit to shorten Rhythm Masters’ take on ‘Been A Long Time’ - their version being a bit too dark compared to the other grooves on offer here.
