Episode 13 - Interview with Senior Grandmaster George Pesare

Informações:

Synopsis

I'm personally a 5th generation successor of Senior Grandmaster George Pesare which makes this a very exciting interview for me. He is the man responsible for bringing Kempo Karate to New England and spreading it to the masses. His teachings have reached thousands of martial artists on the east coast and he continues his involvement in the arts at his Rhode Island school and at the Kempo Council of Grandmasters and the Kaito Gakko. As 10th degree black belt under Victor "Sonny" Gascon, SGM Pesare is at the professor level in Kempo Karate. In this episode we discuss the changes that have been made to Kempo Karate over the course of the past 50 years and it's evolution from Kajukenbo and Karazempo Go Shinjutsu. Get the unique insights of SGM George Pesare and hear about his motivation for creating 5, 6 and 7 kata and why he added those forms to the Kempo Curriculum.
