This month's Line Noise is a special double edition around the release of Trip City, a novel by Trevor Miller, first released in 1989, and now being re-released by Velocity Press. Trip City is not just a brilliant novel in itself, it also comes with a five-track EP by A Guy Called Gerald, one of the most important producers in British dance music history. For this special edition of Line Noise, Ben Cardew talked to Gerald, asking him about acid house, jungle and everything in between; and Trevor Miller, the book’s author, about creating the ultra vivid world of Trip City.
