In this episode, host Tariq (El-Amin) talks with his youngest sister Halimah El-Amin about being diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer this year (2019). Halimah talks about how dealing with cancer has helped her to face long-held fears, to see herself, and to live more intentionally. She talks openly about her experience, highs and lows, and the importance of having a support system. She started a Facebook page (Candidly Cancer) with that in mind, where she shares her experiences and perspectives as they occur.
