This is the first in a series of discussions titled "Are We Expecting Too Much From Hip Hop?" We're talking with artist, activist, and scholars about the evolution of Hip Hop, it's usage as a vehicle for social justice, the responsibility of artist, the history of Black music, and Hip Hop as a generational bridge.
