Welcome to our second CYA Conference special! This fantastic annual conference in Brisbane, held by Tina Clark and team, features inspiring workshops, talks and panels. The conference also offers many opportunities for emerging writers and illustrators, like manuscript assessments with top publishers plus the fabulous CYA Competition. In this event special, we meet superstar author Belinda Murrell, behind kids' book hits like Pippa's Island, Lulu Bell and her middle grade timeslip novels. We also chat in-depth with prolific authors Isobelle Carmody and Jack Heath, who share insights into their writing processes and the stories behind the stories. Meet a CYA Success Story, Sue-Ellen Pashley, whose picture book The Jacket came about via an assessment at a previous CYA Conference. And we chat to the lovely Lana Spasevski, who was shortlisted not once but five times in this year's CYA Competition!
