We casually introduced the concept that the Trio was secretly filming the gang early in the season. The payoff turns out to be that Spike and Anya had sex together and it was caught on tape. That was worth it. Anya kills it this episode, trying to convince everyone to wish ill on Xander. It seems she needs someone to make a wish on her behalf.
