Center Point Assembly

Sunday, April 25, 2021. We are in our 3rd week of the study on Jude and we are titling this message "Contending for the Faith". Contending for something isn't in God's original plan for mankind, have you ever thought about that? When God created everything 6000+ years ago, He reviewed everything and He said that it was very good. Very Good by God's standard is "perfection". Perfection means that God and everything He created was at PEACE, meaning there was no contention and thus contending wasn't in the vocabulary. Then sin came and all PEACE was broken, and thus contention enters the scene and that's where we are today. So today, Jude says we are to "contend for the faith" - meaning we are to stand up for it and against everything that is against it. This is a great message that needs to be shared and understood, so I pray that the Holy Spirit brings it alive as you worship with us. Be Blessed...
