Bio of sticky: Formed in 2019 by 5 close friends, sticky’s take on modern rock expands the vernacular of rock’n’roll music to a new generation, with the same energy and spirit of rebellions past, and a new sound set to pave the way for the future of the genre. After meeting in school and playing for kicks as 5 acoustic guitar players, the group of friends started performing as a band live at local venues, both as headliners and with larger national acts, as well as some almost excessively kinetic house parties in and out of state. sticky had its introduction to the music world in early 2020 with the debut single “lost for words,” and have an EP in the works slated for release late this year. The band is hoping to be bringing live music to new cities and venues in the rest of 2020, provided any of them are open.
