Synopsis
NYC band Activity is a supergroup of sorts, with Travis Johnson, Steve Levine, Zoë Browne, and Jess Rees coming from the excellent bands Grooms, Field Mouse, and Russian Baths. This particular combination ties together some of the best and darkest elements of those groups in a caustic blend of equal parts nervous breakdown and blissful catharsis. Ahead of their release, the band dropped by Serious Business Music in Brooklyn to give us a taste of their music.
