Back in 2013 socialists in the US were cheering for Venezuela and it's implementation of democratic socialism and mass redistribution. Today people are hunting cats and dogs in the streets for food due to the shortages of goods caused by socialism. The Leftists no longer want to celebrate Venezuela but they will still advocate for the policies that have caused a nation sitting on top of oil to reduce itself to hunting pigeons, cats and dogs in it's streets for survival.
