Social Media and the Church, more specifically “posting from the pews” should clergy be encouraging parishioners to post to their social media platforms? The popularity of social networking and digital communications is growing exponentially, so the church should not shy away from these new forms of media, and they should be actively present in them. However, as with all forms of communication and personal interaction, there are healthy, normative ways of using these media and unhealthy, potentially abusive ways as well.  We will discuss the pros and cons with my special guest Lisa Bryant of Divine Liberty Ministries, Inc.
