Mondays  show where Joan was a guest had many challenges she could not hear me and I could not hear her so we are rescheduling the show to Wednesday October 31st Joan Wakeland-Taylor was born in 1941 in Jamaica West Indies.  She graduated in 1964 as a Pharmacist from the University of Technology in Jamaica West Indies and owned and operated 3 Pharmacies in Jamaica. Things were scary in 1977 and she feared for her son’s life as well as her own so she migrated to New Jersey with only $50.00 for her and $50.00 for her son as that is all that was allowed to take out of the country.  They stayed in New Jersey for 6 weeks and then came to California She could not get a job as a Pharmacist in the US so she became a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative and worked for several companies, In 1990 she became a Senior Medical Representative and  joined AstraZeneca in September 2000 and retired in 2014..
