July 24, 2011: Kindness - The Essence of ReligionSpeaker: Mark DeCourval Having a particular faith or religious tradition is good, but we can survive without it as long as we possess love, compassion, and tolerance, and practice kindness in our relationships with other human beings.Mark DeCourval is currently pursuing a lifelong dream to be an ordained Community Unitarian Universalist minister. He is a Sponsored UU Candidate, completing his final year in the Master of Divinity program at the Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He is a member since 1962 of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia where his ministry focus is on providing hospice and geriatric chaplaincy.
