On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to discuss the Florida Panthers wrapping up a 5-1-1 home stand which puts them in a great position to compete for a playoff spot as now the teams have been narrowed to 3 teams for 2 spots. Armando discusses the win for the Cats against New Jersey where at times the games felt like it was lost in the 1st period when the Panthers were dominating the Devils, but Akira Schmid was standing tall for NJ. We saw some great performances out of Aleksander Barkov(who is now tied for the all-time lead in franchise points at 613), Matthew Tkachuk, and Sam Reinhart(5 goals in his last 4 games) to help the Panthers with a come-from-behind home win against the best road team in the NHL in New Jersey. We discuss how the Panthers have been turning it around in the 3rd period as of late in this home stand and discuss if it's something that can carry to the road as the Cats have 7 road games left(6 of them against non-playoff teams),
