On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brings in Florida Panthers Historian(@FLACatsHistory) Francisco Oporta(@fjojr) to the show to discuss the 5-2 Panthers Victory over the Carolina Hurricanes at home. Panthers set the tone in the first with getting in front of pucks when the Hurricanes possessed the puck mostly for the latter part of the first period and even five to six minutes into the second. Florida's penalty kill was perfect on the night as not only did they go 3/3, but they did not allow a single shot on goal. Florida shut it down in the third period and even when the Hurricanes brought in the extra attacker, they score 13 second after to ice the game. Matthew Tkachuk gets two points on the night to now be at an average of a point per game, Aleksander Barkov gets two points on the night with five shots on goal, and Uvis Balinskis gets his first career goal.
