In this lesson, we see: A preliminary point – The word “spiritual” in Scripture ordinarily means “pertaining to the Holy Spirit.” The Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for receiving all God has for us in Christ. Apart from the Spirit: We cannot accept or truly understand God’s truth. We have no access to Christ. As the Spirit of wisdom and truth, the Holy Spirit not only points us to Jesus, he connects us to him. Therefore, you can ask the Spirit to reveal more of his truth to you.
