Join Pastor Stuart for the third part of our Christmas series, What Child Is This? This week, we turn one more time to the Gospel of Matthew 1:1 to hear the proclamation of . . . "Jesus, the Son of Abraham". In this lesson, we see: Jesus is the Son of Abraham. Not only does this title indicate Jesus is a descendent of Abraham, it also indicates he is the fulfillment of the promises made to Abraham. These Jesus-fulfilled promises made to Abraham can be summarized as offspring, land, and blessing. Therefore, we ought to believe in and celebrate Jesus as the Son of Abraham.
