Yes it was just a few days before the Thanksgiving vacation and I was sitting in the classroom waiting for the American history class to begin. And then all of a sudden the professor came running into the classroom put his books down and said, "Class dismissed, the President has been shot, pray for the president," And we all left the room and for the rest of the day we were transfixed by the growing tragedy, some thoughts and some stories about difficult times, even then.
