Modern Songwriting and a Music Career | WTH

Informações:

Synopsis

Welcome to What The Heck, an occasional chat I have with professional musician and songwriter Zach Heckendorf, a Colorado native and well-known dude here in Denver. We discuss the songwriting process (Zach takes us through a few songs on guitar), the state of modern acoustic music in America, the drive it takes to be an independent musician, what Zach has learned from the last 10 years of his career, how he got started as a teen, and what he plans to do with his life.    Who is Zach? By age 18, Denver native Zach Heckendorf had signed his first record deal, released his first album, played Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre and shared stages with Rodrigo y Gabriela, John Butler Trio, Brett Dennen, The Lumineers, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Guster, and One Republic.   He toured the country extensively for several years and has built a grassroots following this past decade playing in clubs and music venues across the United States.    Over 50,000 people tune in monthly on Spotify and Apple Music to
