Sunday, January 15, 2023 - We're studying the Parable of the Persistent Widow in today's service. Prayer is a mysterious wonder of God, don't you agree? Sometimes it's easy to approach God during our prayer time, and other times it's a battle. Sometimes we can feel the presence of God like He's sitting in the room with us; other times, our prayers don't make it past the ceiling. Can you relate to this? No matter what, it's the way God has ordained for us to communicate with Him. This parable's message is persistence and staying persistent in our prayer time, especially when it seems our prayers are ineffective. Jesus ends the parable with a question, "will He find faith on the earth when He returns?" Faith and prayer are related in the context of prayer as an expression of our faith in God. He is faithful to answer prayers according to His Will and in His perfect time. He knows what's best for us, and He loves us enough to answer our prayers with a "Yes," "Not yet," or even a "No," and it's up to us
