Hope is a fragile thing that we are often waiting for and longing for. How do we find hope in the midst of the waiting? We take comfort and hope in the fact that Christ waits for you and I, always longing for us to turn and connect with Him. 

Even google maps can lead you down the wrong direction at times. When it comes to making life decisions about which direction to go, where do we find long-term wisdom to guide us? 

This morning we will be hearing from two people from our church family about how God has impacted their lives!

The book of Proverbs offers many angles of wisdom in regards to wealth, and the Scriptures continually call us to recognize that wisdom is of greater value than wealth.

The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,    but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.Proverbs 10:11 NIV 

To get a good job you may have to prove how qualified and capable you are. But when anyone becomes a follower of Jesus, the wisdom of God is made available to them. God's wisdom is a gift to all who seek Him.

Each and every day you make hundreds of decisions. How do we aim to make better decisions and fewer regrets? How do we live with wisdom? 

Today we welcome Colin Dyck! He will be sharing his testimony, his call to ministry, and his approach to ministering to young people and families.

The next conflict we look at is about two church leaders who differed in how they wanted to do ministry. One wanted to give an apprentice a second chance and the other did not. They reconciled... about 14-15 years later.

The conflict in Acts 5 is one of the most perplexing and challenging passages in the New Testament. The early Church is now facing down conflict not from the outside authorities, but from people who through deceit are trying to gain influence in the Church. 

The way the enemy can most hurt the Church is by creating disunity from within. We will be spending the next 4 weeks in the book of Acts  studying how the early Church walked through conflict. 

James closes off his letter with tangible instructions of how to live while we wait for the return of Jesus to earth. The waiting can be the hardest part. James invites us to live with purpose while we wait. 

Connor shared how God has been working in his life.

There are a variety of things we could say are wrong with the world today: warfare, poverty, the next generation and so on and so on. But James writes to Christians with what is actually the core issue, and how to progress through dealing with it. 

Words can tear us down or build us up. They are designed by God to be one of the most powerful tools in this life. 

Ever experiencing feeling judged? It's a gross awful feeling. And judging others is an easy thing to do as well. The Kingdom of Jesus calls us to a different way of interacting.
