In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles Donnie and Dale get roped in on the gruesome killing of Sharon Lopatka.  Sharon was an Internet entrepreneur in Hampstead, Maryland, United States, who was killed in a case of apparent consensual homicide. Lopatka was tortured and strangled to death on October 16, 1996, by Robert (Bobby) Frederick Glass, a computer analyst from North Carolina. The apparent purpose was mutual sexual gratification. In this episode of the Crack House Chronicles Donnie and Dale discuss Joseph Augustus Zarelli - The Boy In The Box. On Feb. 25, 1957, a college student was wandering in a wooded area of Philadelphia’s Fox Chase neighborhood when he found the dead body of a little boy in a box. The child had been beaten to death and wrapped in a blanket before being left in a JC Penney box he was found in. He was malnourished and had seven scars, three of which may have been surgical scars. Then, after nearly 66 years, on Dec. 6, 2022, Philadelphia police held a news conference to reveal they had used the latest DNA and genetic genealogy techniques to identify the boy, according to The New York Times. His name was Joseph Augustus Zarelli. Wone was an American lawyer who was murdered in Washington, D.C., in August 2006 in the home of a college friend, Joe Price. Wone was living in suburban Oakton, Virginia, but had been working as general counsel at Radio Free Asia in downtown Washington. He had stayed the night at the home of friends located about one mile from his office. According to police affidavits, Wone was believed to have been "restrained, incapacitated, and sexually assaulted" before his death.
