P.S. I'm aware that my voice is a mess and I shouldn't sing; thanks Need dank memes? For the second episode, I taped my favourite second favourite urban legend. • #29 - Bhishma, Amba, Shikhandi and Karma

    22/04/2019 Duration: 15min

For Episode 29,  I visited a story from the longest Epic ever written in human history - Mahabharata. We look at the death of Bhishma, a General in the Kuru army who's life in itself was the reason for a 200,000 verse long poem; and how it cemented a place for the Gender Non-conformists in the Hindu culture. We look at this story as the reason for Koovagam festival, a festival of the transgender community that happens in Tamil Nadu, and also because it has been cited as the reason for the recognition of the 3rd gender in India. • #28 - Is Pewdiepie Racist?

    14/04/2019 Duration: 28min

While I know that I don't do this kind of content, it bugged me enough to get me talking about it on the interwebs. everyone knows Pewdiepie as the biggest content creator on YouTube with almost 94 million subscribers on his channel as of this recording.  The twist in the tale is, that he's deemed a white nationalist and racist all across the internet by different groups of people because of the conversation about him in the "traditional media". • #27 - The 1936 Olympics

    07/04/2019 Duration: 11min

Episode 27 of the Podcast follows the trend of talking about things I think about a lot. Quite randomly, the 1936 Olympics seem like a party that would've been the fodder for memes all day and all night long if it was in today's time. That's it, It's just me talking about that exact sentiment for 11 minutes straight.  The Name of the athlete I forgot the name of: Jesse Owens! • #26 - Conflict and How Your Life Will Only Get Weirder With Time.

    31/03/2019 Duration: 21min

For Episode 26 of The Deep Fried Neurons Podcast, Contextualize the conflicts in narrative in literature with time and how their relevance has evolved across history. I tried to understand the concept of god and how our understanding of what we mean by God also evolves with time and the absurdity of human life with the evolution of human society at the current pace. • #25 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - Are You Replacable?

    24/03/2019 Duration: 11min

On the 25th Episode of the Deep Fried Neurons Podcast, I rant about an existential question I was unprepared to tackle. With a vague understanding of how capable an AI can be, what being human means and what exactly is the human experience; I try to make sense of whether doing the right math could make my necessity even in the societal terms completely useless. Hope I asked more questions than I answered. • #24 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - Phoolan Devi (Bandit Queen Of Chambal)

    17/03/2019 Duration: 18min

For Episode 24 of the Podcast, we take a fairly deep dive on one of the most controversial political figures to ever exist in India. Phoolan Devi was the Member Of Parilament twice for Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. Besides that, she also became a face of resistance against oppression of women and the lower castes during her time of operation. Her story sounds awfully like an Anti-hero movie, which was also made on her in 1994. So I thought it was worth talking about on Deep Fried Neurons Podcast. Link To The BBC (Hindi) Video on her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CMvoTWuF_4 Vocals For the Intro by Shivangi Kale Check her out on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCahrQbx1bX5NUeVVJhb_rfw

  • #23 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - Albert Camus

    17/03/2019 Duration: 09min

Episode 23 of Deep Fried Neurons Podcast explores the philosophical literature put down by Albert Camus. The Podcast sort of started because I wanted to talk about what I think about at 3 AM in the morning, and thinking about existentialist philosophy is sort of one of my favourites in that aspect. So, I thought I'll drag down my listeners with me to question what does it mean to be alive. Hope you enjoy. • #22 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - The Creator, The Maintainer And The Destroyer

    03/03/2019 Duration: 09min

Episode 22 of the Deep Fried Neurons briefly introduces you to the mythological story that Hinduism maintains as the understanding of the creation of the universe. We mainly talk about the story in the context of the trinity of the gods that are involved as a story, which may or may not be accurate to the scripture. Vocals intro by Shivangi Kale! In this episode, We dissect what is the source of conflict and which side wants what; along with me going over why I think what is best for Kashmir. I Urge everyone to read up more and not take my word for what I say. While I have taken care to back up all my claims from credible sources; I encourage you to question each and every statement I've made, and hope for peaceful dialogue on the subject around me. • #19 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - Antinatalism And Raphael Samuel's Case Against His Parents

    10/02/2019 Duration: 11min

Episode 19 of the Podcast went a little topical. I found a news piece so interesting that I couldn't help but move the episode I was working on forward and make an episode on the said story. Raphael Samuel gained a lot of attention and raised a lot of eyebrows when he announced that he is going to sue his parents for giving him birth without his consent. This leads to a conversation about Anti-natalism and Parenthood, and I wanted to cover the historical ground of the philosophical concept and give my opinion on the issue.

  • #18 Deep Fried Neurons Podcast - Censorship And Information Control

    03/02/2019 Duration: 14min

For Episode 18, I just talked a while about information, censorship and the power dynamic around the same. While I am against censorship and truly believe that information should be as free and accessible as it can be, I don't particularly know how to deal with the chaotic consequences of the same. I just thought I could rant about the same for 12 minute straight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_books_banned_in_India
