  • Moses Hacmon of Channel Water

    04/06/2019 Duration: 01h20min

My guest this week is Moses Hacmon of Channel Water. This man embodies water consciousness. He's a gifted artist / photographer / architect and more. He started 'Faces of Water' as a proprietary form of water photography in 2013 and is currently in the process of establishing a non-profit here in Los Angeles as a model for other cities; The Water Museum. He's had many solo/group exhibitions to date: notably a 'Faces of Water' installation at Terminal 7 LAX. I think his art speaks to the soul that well predates humanity. That may come off as a heady statement but go see his art and you'll agree with me. We had a very fluid conversation fueled by my favorite raw puerh, 2008 'Often' by my illustrious tea sponsor, White2Tea. I'll let this conversation (first of many) speak for itself... we touched on art, life, meaning, the mind, and of course plenty of water. https://bit.ly/2JV7X91 and subscribe to 'Channel Water' on YouTube www.facesofwater.com www.patreon.com/wabisabipodcast www.wabisabipodcast.xyz

She is wise, hilarious, honest, and eloquent. She started pulling out some deep and vulnerable stories from me about family estrangement and toxic mothers. She also requested that I post a video of me playing along to Lizzo's Fitness so go to my IG feed www.instagram.com/wabisabipodcast_ and enjoy that. • Colin Hudon

    30/04/2019 Duration: 01h05min

This week I am thrilled to share my conversation with a dear old friend, Colin Hudon, founder of Living Tea. I first met Colin at burning man ten years ago and watched him begin his tea journey in parallel with becoming a TCM practitioner and licensed acupuncturist. His company Living Tea purveys the best aged teas I’ve ever had the pleasure of imbibing and he recently launched a seasonal tea club. Check out www.livingtea.net for more info. We both happened to be drinking rock teas (aka yancha) and spoke of tea culture, homes, technology, and sympathetic joy. photo of Colin by @iluminadora

  • Olivia Pepper

    28/03/2019 Duration: 01h11min

Today I had the pleasure of sitting for a late morning tea session with Olivia Ephraim Pepper. She’s an anarchist mystic, a thorn in the side of the patriarchy, a herald of utopia, and a younger, hotter, more feminist Alejandro Jodorowsky. She’s a friend I met a few years ago through my partner Pamela and we spoke of time, masculinity, generation apocalypse, and technologically-induced apathy. We imbibed White2Tea Waffles, a ripe puerh harvested and processed in 2017… which was befitting for the time of day and the gravity of our discussion.
