Breaking: Possible 5th indictment in Gilgo Beach serial murders. Valerie Mack was last seen by her family in the Spring/Summer of 2000 in the area of Port Republic, New Jersey. She was never listed as a missing person. Her last known address was in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area where she had been working as an escort. She used the name "Melissa Taylor." Valerie was a white female with brown hair and hazel eyes, 5 feet tall, weighing ~100 pounds. On November 19, 2000, the body of a woman was discovered by hikers in the Long Island Pine Barrens in Manorville near Halsey Manor Road. The body had been cut into pieces and placed in plastic bags. It was estimated that she had been dead for several weeks before being found. The victim was a white woman, possibly in her 30s, with brown hair. She was referred to as the "Manorville Jane Doe." Chad Daybell receives the death penalty, in the Doomsday murders. An Idaho judge on Saturday sentenced a man to death, two days after he was found guilty of first-degree murder and other charges in the 2019 killings of his first wife and two of his current wife’s children, capping a case that drew scrutiny because of the couple’s “doomsday” religious beliefs. The decision came after jurors took more than a day to deliberate during the special sentencing proceeding in the case against the man, Chad Daybell, 55, in Ada County District Court in Boise, Idaho. Earlier on Saturday, the jury had recommended the death penalty before the judge ordered a short recess to make a final sentencing decision. As the judge, Steven W. Boyce of the Seventh Judicial District, read his decision, Mr. Daybell sat with his hands in his lap, expressionless at the defense table. Her body has yet to be recovered, and a judge declared the mother of five dead just days before Troconis' trial began.

Inside were the bodies of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley, who had been missing since March 30. The OSBI also revealed in the new court records that "personal items" were located in the hole after the bodies were removed. "These items did not belong to Butler or Kelley," an OSBI agent wrote. "This information was not released to the public."

Mica Miller estate documents claim abuse, attempt to hide assets. Prior to her death, Mica was in the middle of divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, John-Paul Miller, who is a pastor at Solid Rock Church in The Market Common. According to an affidavit released to ABC15, Mica's sister, Sierra Francis applied to be the special administrator of Mica's estate on May 2, less than a week after her passing and four days before the Robeson County Medical Examiner announced her cause of death as suicide. In the affidavit, Sierra claims Mica said she experienced "abuse and violence" from her husband, John-Paul. The court documents state, Mica told her sister that John-Paul was moving assets that were in his name, such as his car, changing the deed to their house to the church and transferring interest in Crocodile Rocks to one of his sons. Breaking: Records reveal a new timeline in the Madeline Soto case Sterns is charged with first-degree murder in Soto’s death. According to a case supplemental report, a detective interviewed Sterns at the residence he shared with Soto and Soto’s mother.
