Patrick McFadin is the VP of Developer Relations at DataStax, where he leads a team devoted to making users of DataStax products successful. He has also worked as Chief Evangelist for Apache Cassandra and consultant for DataStax, where he helped build some of the largest and exciting deployments in production. Previous to DataStax, he was Chief Architect at Hobsons and an Oracle DBA/Developer for over 15 years.

Dan Harden is an Engineering Manager at Condé Nast. He and his team work within a family of over 20 iconic brands (such as WIRED, The New Yorker, and Vogue), each with their own unique style. He has a keen interest in shaping the future of journalism, and he is passionate about mentoring engineers and helping them achieve their career goals.

Tal Broner is Vice President of Software Engineering at Egnyte, overseeing product development and innovation. Tal has held a variety of leadership positions in engineering, product management and global operations for large-scale cloud and on-premise enterprise software solutions companies. Prior to Egnyte he served as Vice President of R&D in HP’s Enterprise Software division with responsibility for the IT Service Management products, generating over $500 Million in annual revenue. He was also a key leader at Mercury Interactive, Appilog, Inc and Broadband Studios, Inc., through their acquisitions.

Chris Cortez is Vice President of Engineering for Apex Clearing, the technology platform for the most innovative Fintech and Financial Services firms. In two and a half years, he has tripled the size of his Engineering organization to support the runaway growth of Apex customers and industry segment. In addition to his work in technology leadership, Cortez produced the film No No: A Dockumentary, which premiered in competition at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and is currently available on all major streaming platforms. Virgil Beaston is the Senior Vice President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Powin Energy and has been with the company since 2011. Beaston has over 10 years of experience in the battery and energy storage industry and is often asked to speak publicly as a subject matter expert. He views business and the rapidly growing storage sector from a unique perspective as he previously was a patent attorney at an intellectual property law firm and then was a co-founder and CTO of a start-up company that made energy storage products prior to joining Powin Energy. Dan Gaul is the co-founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for Digital Trends, a Portland, Oregon-based publisher of consumer-targeted websites. In his role, Dan is charged with oversight of tech operations for Digital Trends’ suite of platforms including: Digital Trends, the popular site for news, information and reviews on personal tech; its Spanish-language companion, DT Español, and The Manual an aspirational-living site targeted to males.   As CTO, Dan is responsible for site partner integration, trouble-shooting, brand development, SEO (search engine optimization), research, and development for all Digital Trends platforms. Dmitry Fonarev has more than 20 years of experience in Enterprise, Application, SaaS and embedded software development, as well as extensive experience with managing multiple on and offshore teams across various product development functions. He is currently SVP of Product Dev at SmartBear Software. Prior to SmartBear, Dmitry was Vice President of Engineering at Dell Software Group which he joined through the vKernel acquisition. At vKernel, he helped drive the company to profitability by innovating, simplifying and establishing a high say/do ratio. Before that, he served as Vice President of Quality Assurance at Intralinks (NYSE:IL;IPO 2011). He led software development at Soapstone and held various leadership roles in software development organizations at Nortel, Bay Networks and Wellfleet.
