Backstage at The Naked Comedy Showcase 3/5/2020 This was recorded right before the pandemic of COVID-19 started to really affect lives throughout America. This may be one of the more bizarre episodes in recent history. It's like a strange split 7" between two very different bands. We start with Dan Martin and I talking with April Bruckner and her Donald Trump puppet. Alex Foolski comes on and talks in a slavic accent for a while and generally clowns around and talks about nudist colonies aka 'lifestyle retreats.' Kevin Quigley comes by and chats and with producer Deadair Dennis and Matt. We round out the show with Julie Mizraji, a staple of The Naked Comedy Showcase who opens up about her ongoing struggles with cancer. Best of Backstage at The Naked Comedy Showcase Volume 1 (Episodes 1-9) Due to a month in which The Naked Comedy Showcase was off, there was no corresponding podcast. Andy and Matt dug into the archives to bring you a collection of highlights from the first nine episodes of the show. We begin with Solange Azur and Rick Harkness talking about their thoughts on doing the show for the first time and their impressions of the show immediately afterwards.
