The US needs sports to help heal and Unite a divided country. After all, it happened with the Lake Placid Olympics in 1980 and the New York Yankees after 9/11. Rugby helped Unite South Africa. Look, it’s a long shot, but we need it. Things can only get worse if it doesn’t happen!

Aaron Rodgers’s lie about his Vaccination endangered everyone he’s played with, and his selfishness is a symptom of an “it’s all about me” mindset too many from all walks of life have nowadays. This distraction better not throw Green Bay’s season for a loop; if it does, Jordan Love is the man under center in Green Bay next year!

This Sunday is the Super Bowl, the most bet on the sporting event of the calendar year. While some of us may rarely go to a casino, one big bet on Sunday’s game could become an addiction or get you in legal trouble in some states and countries.

The Kobe Bryant tragedy isn’t about him; eight other people are gone with him. This is about nine people who left this world too soon. People with families and lives like ours. That could’ve been any of us in that helicopter!  This isn’t about sports, but human life.

The game has to go-period! Nowadays, it’s nothing more than a glorified pickup game, like the ones we played at Recess as kids. Only the injuries can do far worse than make Junior miss class for a week. None of us can get pumped for this game, so why should the NFL bother scheduling it anymore?!

Doctors in the NFL are investigating whether THC is an option as a painkiller for players. This makes too much sense. Look, I’m not advocating recreational use, but Marijuana use wouldn’t blow out guys’ kidneys or get them killed of an overdose. The NFL remains the most popular league in the United States, but that could all disappear if a marquee player died of a painkiller overdose. The opioid crisis is discussed a lot, but I’m very sure the NFL has a drug problem of its own, and its painkillers.

The Patriots stand accused of taping signals again, this time on the Bengals’ sideline. The franchise can’t stop getting in trouble with the league office like this? Then Roger Goodell needs to terminate the Pats’ franchise. It’d be an appropriate punishment for a team that’s embarrassed the NFL over and over again since the turn of the century!

Dan’s Show today is on the Cowboys. Are they getting too much media attention? Once again, a meager win against the lowly Lions made the Cowboys a topic of discussion for no good reason. Throughout their history, the Cowboys have exploited their past to bilk fans out of their money and trick the press into giving them unnecessary coverage. This has done nothing but rob more deserving NFL teams of coverage during the year, and that’s a disgrace!

Any Given Sunday, in hindsight, captured the chaos of pro football better than anything before or since. The movie showed crazy parties, painkiller usage, and broken marriages in pro football; ironically these issues gave come to light in the NFL since the movie came out in 1999.

Like Antonio Brown, most receivers expect a huge contract means they’ll be thrown to a lot-and once that happens, they feel like someone who found out their spouse cheated on them. Sadly, that uncertainty is the nature of the position-and teams need to check a guy psychologically before signing him-can he handle it at the pro level?

Maybe Cedric drove to fast; maybe the other driver did, I don’t care. We need this to teach individuals what happens when you ignore traffic: “See what happened to Cedric, guys?” No one, former football star or not, should die this young, and one death due to someone’s mistake on the road is one too many!

Here is what Dan will be talking about. Over the next 100 years, the NFL needs to make changes to rules regarding mandatory equipment, and check on corrupt medical practices by team doctors. It wouldn’t hurt to check on coaches to make sure they aren’t offering money to knock opponents out of games. Let’s make the next 100 years of NFL football safer than ever, Roger Goodell!

Nothing is more pathetic than a parent who makes this about them and their need to argue balls and strikes. One can only hope this comes to an end in the near future.

Companies have to take a second look at people on the spectrum: they bring a new pair of eyes with them and different experiences. No smart company would pass up an opportunity to employ people like this. Its rough enough having a disability, but being unable to take care of yourself while dealing with one is just as awful, if not even worse

Can we give MLB the benefit of the doubt; but this could be a PR train wreck for baseball if no action is taken. This accusation by its players needs to be taken as seriously as the Black Sox Scandal and Pete Rose's gambling was, because baseball can only survive so much damage to its credibility!

According to the police, a Celebrity Lawyer has been charged with blackmail after threatening to expose the company for its involvement in a basketball scandal if they didn't give him 1.5 Million in hush money. Once again, College basketball's underbelly has been exposed, and no one can fix it.  What is going on in the Sports World?Well is looks like Greed and Cheating is the norm.
