Synopsis
Family Missions Company is an apostolate of lay Catholic missionaries. Committed to the Great Commission of Jesus, we proclaim the Gospel and serve the poor worldwide. We work under the blessing of our bishop in the Diocese of Lafayette, and at the invitation of the bishops in all areas we serve. We train and send out families and singles as full-time missionaries who evangelize and provide medical care, food, clothing, and the construction of homes in some of the poorest communities around the world.

FMC Podcast Episode 20: Justice is not optional for Jesus
09/02/2018 Duration: 01h16minJustice is not liberal or conservative: Justice is a Christian duty. And we aren't dutiful, just Christians if (1) we have more than we need, (2) others don't have what they need, and (3) we do nothing about it. As St. Paul tells us, "If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him? Children, let us love not in word or speech but in deed and truth." (1 John 3:17-18) In the latest podcast, Matt and Jonathan – recognizing their failings – discuss this challenging subject.
