Join us back in time on the 4th of July to hear Cait Leary's music writing excellence. Minneapolis singer/songwriter Cait Leary just released her debut album, "Let Me Have Tonight," recorded and co-produced with Grammy Award Winner Brett Huus (Bill Miller, Michael Martin Murphey). Leary is a musical hybrid; poppy without the lyrical cliches, jazzy without the training, and sweet with a preference for profanity. The self-taught guitarist, wrote, performed and co-produced all ten tracks on the album, a dynamic mix of songs that demonstrate Leary's mature songwriting and her child-like curiosity. She coins her guitar style, "finger rhythm," and puts a great amount of consideration into her melodies, naturally drawn into complex instrumentation that is noteworthy in its own right. independentstream.podOmatic.com

The Desert Vest is an alternative rock band based in Minneapolis, Minnesota who were formed in 2008 by guitarist/vocalist Lucas Price. The band plays a mix of sloppy garage and loud pop-punk.
