    At the recent launch of Voices at the World's Edge: Irish Poets on Skellig Michael, which took place in the National Library of Ireland, and with the support of the Office of Pubic Works, poet and editor Paddy Bushe spoke about the project and then introduced a specially composed piece of music by fiddler Maire Breathnach, short readings by three of the poets, and after which Dr Martin Mansergh, TD, Minister of State at the Department of Finance, with special responsibility for the Office of Public Works, offered a fascinating overview of the site's 1400 year history and of his own connections with it since his first visit there in the 1970s.
