  • Episode 15: Pattern Palooza

    01/07/2008 Duration: 34min

Hey knitters!!After braving a broken power source on my laptop, a podcast script outline that completely disappeared, slightly cranky kiddies and many weekend visitors, I finally, finally finished up the new podcast! Woo-hoo!I think I was a bit rusty with recording and had a few sound "blips" here and there but, overall, I think it went o-kay. You'll have to let me know. I was feeling a bit silly last night, so I added a couple of funny songs to the podcast...hope they bring a smile to your face. I haven't got much new to show you in terms of photos of knitted or spun projects at the moment, but I'm sure I'll have more after my deadline is past. I do have one AWESOME piece of news, though. Got an email last night from Tasha asking if it was okay to talk about my Lisha Lace Scarf on Lime and Violet Daily Chum.First, I screamed and made Ian drop the carton of milk he was holding. Then, I had to explain why this was so super fantastic (for which his response was something like, "I didn't understan

  • Episode 14: Playing Catch Up

    20/09/2007 Duration: 36min

Hey everyone, guess what??? The NEW podcast is up!!! It's called: "Playing Catch Up". Pretty much all I talk about it the stuff I’ve knited (and things I’ve been up to*) since the last podcast. Maybe interesting??I also wanted to tell you an update of my Sahara. I've got to knit the hip part until it's 24" and it's about 20" now. It doesn't look that long because it's on the needles, but it's coming along nicely. I will definitely have done before we leave, but I keep getting interrupted with other knitting projects, so I keep putting it aside. *Ian and I are going on a MUCH needed vacation in the beginning of October (sans kids!!) to the Bahamas! There’s been a lot of shopping going on...shhh!I would love some feedback on the episode and what things you'd like to hear for the next one. I accept stories, jokes, and can answer any questions you submit....well, at least try to. LOL!Happy Knitting!

  • Episode 13: Return My Mojo

    24/05/2007 Duration: 35min

Hey Knitters! I’ve been having a hard time feeling my “knitting mojo”. It’s something that’s either crazy high or crazy low. Right now, I think I could possibly just give up knitting and podcasting...but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that! I also talk a little (or a lot) about my birthday celebration (that was yesterday - yay!) and other thingie-things. Hope you can help return my mojo back to me! Send that inspiration and knitting awesomeness this way!! Happy Knitting!

  • Episode 1: Sweet

    27/10/2006 Duration: 21min

Whew!!! It's finally done and I am a little bit happy with it! It took many, many hours of swearing and begging Ian to help me figure out terms like "rss", "feed", and "mp3"...but I survived and I think Ian's only the tiniest bit scarred...emotionally, I mean, not physically. The sad news is, from now on, I think my blog posts for podcast episodes will be mostly like this...lists of links and notes from the podcast and pictures that you can see that I've talked about. It will be short and, hopefully, sweet...heh heh.You will be able to "hear" my babbling from now on instead of "reading" about it....but I use those terms loosely...much like my commitment to not buy any more yarn...yeah, right...(STR, here I come!)Okay...so PLEASE download and listen to my podcast and gimme some feedback! Happy Knitting!
