Stukafest Amsterdam: Transforming student rooms into tiny theaters! In this interview, Beth is speaking with Jon Buijs, one of the program coördinators of Stukafest Amsterdam - a small scale festival that organizes 20 performances of all sorts (music, theater, poetry, dance - even an anarchist-punk magic show) in 20 student rooms in Amsterdam. The two of them discuss music culture in Amsterdam, Stukafest’s ideals and vision and the hardships of finding your place in a brand new city as an international student.
