This episode all about the classic 1971 Who album 'Who’s Next'. On September 18th of '71 it became the band's first and only UK number one album. It would reach number four in the US. 'Who's Next' started out as a rock opera Pete Townshend was working on called "The Lifehouse Project". Although the project never came to fruition many songs from it would be used for 'Who's Next'.You'll hear what was Townshend's original concept of the aborted "Lifehouse Project", the stories behind the nine songs from 'Who's Next', the songs left out of 'Who's Next' along with the story behind the iconic album cover.
