For our show this week, Dr. Carlin discusses medieval matrimony and its implications for the modern sacrament. He and Doug discuss the changes in the ceremony throughout the years and it's importance in the public square. Dr, Carlin did his undergraduate work at Williams, and his graduate work in Fordham. He earned is PhD in Medieval Studies from the Catholic University of America and his specialties include medieval monasticism, sacramental theology and historical theology.
