Calvary Chapel Sydney

The book of Hebrews is written to Jewish believers. Their background is in traditions, festivals, the rules, etc. The book provides so many ways in which Jesus is better than what most Jewish believers had relied upon prior to faith in Christ. The writer does not want them to go back to relying on their previous ways which would have a strong pull on them if they got away from Jesus. If they could potentially go backward, so could we! Hebrews can help in so many ways.
