Why didn't my mother marry until she was much older than her peers? This week I am (again) using a technique from Rose Murray's fab book When Will You Marry  I am using my mother's chart as she didn't meet my Dad until she was 30, and she didn't marry until she was 32 years old. Why wasn't she even interested in marriage until that age? I've noted that Mercury is her Asc ruler and Jupiter is her 7th house ruler Mercury is in Pisces and Jupiter is retro in Virgo (opposite signs) I've underlined my mother's date of birth and counted on from that date in blocks of 10 ONE DAY FOR EVERY YEAR OF LIFE As you will see Mercury goes retrograde on the 22nd Feb 1921   On Wednesday 16th March, Mercury comes out of retrograde.
