Juneteenth, 2022. Last year’s mix was fun, but this time, I wanted to bring some attention to the people who bring us these amazing performances, ideas that eventually became hits, even if only in the most underground of spaces. This mix features House and Techno legends like King Britt, DJ Dozia, Carl Cox, Kerry Chandler, Todd Terry, Mike Huckaby, Idris Elba, and Green Velvet. Along with singers like Whitney Houston, Martha Wash, Jocelyn Brown, Rainie Lassiter, and Billy Porter.
