We often find Jesus in the most unexpected places. We find Jesus walking the gauntlet in the covenant ceremony recorded in Genesis 17. In the gospel narratives, we find Jesus brooding over God’s people like a mother hen, with the little, least, last, lost, and dead, and on the cross.
