Kelly Owen says that finding joy in the process is critical to a successful journey.  “I am not scared of failing. I would instead try and fail than not try at all. Failing is a part of the process of learning and should be valued.”  Kelly’s family motto is "I can do hard things." This saying has become sentimental to her family during various trials they have experienced through the years. During her doctorate, she realized that she can do hard things, but never alone.    Kelly is a school counselor, a Ph.D. candidate, a mother of four, a military wife, a runner, and a Georgia peach.  She earned a bachelor's and master's degree in behavioral and learning disabilities. After teaching special education and then general education for ten years, she decided to stay home with her children. Kelly’s husband, a Blackhawk helicopter pilot for the Georgia National Guard, was deployed to Iraq as they welcomed their third daughter into their family.    Kelly has always loved the process of learning and has a passion
