The latest scuttlebutt over at BoLS is that the Emperor will in fact be destroyed to allow his consciouness to roam free in the warp to help humans an dpossibly reincarnate as a new Emperor. Guilliman may take the the throne with Cypher by his side and they will help guide the Imperium….pretty bad ass if true!
