Synopsis

Eric Munoz is a native of coastal Southern California and holds a degree in Geography from San Diego State University.  For 18 years he was a Staff Planner for the city of Carlsbad.  He now is a Private Land Use Consultant for San Diego County and the Port of San Diego.  Eric is the author of Caulerpa Conquest, A Biological Eradication on the California Coast, a children’s book titled, Peli Can Surf and has an animated TED video on the Caulerpa story.  Eric’s Community Service includes president and board member of the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation; board member of the California Shore and Beach Preservation Association and vice-president of the California Surf Museum.  Eric is a lifelong surfer, world traveler and partner in the Palm Springs Surf Club in the Coachella Valley, California. e.munoz@palmspringssurfclub.com
