Way back in 1996 I went to a Women's Business Conference in Newport Beach, CA.  It was my first Women in Business conference".  I was so excited, I had never been to a women's business conference before.  I didn't know what to expect.  When I pulled up to the parking lot of the conference center, my immediate reaction (from being an introvert) was to turn around and forget about going to the conference.  My anxiety was kicking in high gear and I didn't want to deal with meeting lots of new people.
