Getting his first taste of House music at age 17, it wasn't long before he bought his first set of turntables and learned to DJ. With a reputation for heavy, dark, underground sets, James quickly secured residencies at two of Vancouver's most popular clubs. There is no question about his work ethic and love of spending time in the studio. After his first EP was released April 2012 on Kiko Records, James has since signed over 50 tracks and done remixes for major labels such as Incorrect Music, WTF! Music, Miniaturesrec, Yellowjax Recordings, 3Desires, SDA, and Sounds R Us, just to name a few. His style is versatile with tracks ranging from upbeat groovy Tech House to dark heads down Techno.
