Harvest Pointe Methodist Church

Miracles have purpose. St. Matthew stacks miracles together in his Gospel for the purpose of showing us some things about Jesus. In this pericope we look at two miracles concerning two ladies, one twelve years old and the other with an ailment of twelve years. Both are seen as unclean by Jewish law. They both need Jesus' touch. One reaches out while the other Jesus reaches. Jesus offers his healing resurrection power!
