Hetal Jani is a first generation South Asian American and New York City native, which has colored her experience as an educator and her interest in how culture, society, and interpersonal relationships affect an individual’s development. Ms. Jani has over 15 years of experience as an educator and has helped hundreds of students navigate their academic careers, even leading them into their first jobs. To best provide for her students, she pursued 3 Masters degrees in a span of 4 years while working full time with students and families. To serve her most vulnerable and marginalized students, she obtained a Master in Psychology from Queens College of New York and a Master in Education from Harvard University, where she was awarded the distinguished Intellectual Contribution Award, given to the top graduating students in recognition of their accomplishments and role they played in leadership. An MBA from IE Business School in Spain and two years in leadership positions in various academic environments of China ha
