Welcome to episode 65.1 of Starships, Sabers, and Scoundrels: The Novel Bracket Part II. On this Scoundrels Special Edition, Dennis and Jay shake off the absence of Darth Taxus, who is neck deep with real life responsibilities, and begin the Scounrels' coverage of the latest Star Wars animated series from Lucasfilm. "The Recruit" Episode one of The Resistance begins with pilot for the Republic Kazuda "Kaz" Xiono and his wingmates pursued by a First Order TIE Fighter as they attempt a delivery of top secret intel to Poe Dameron of the Resistance. Before long, Kaz finds himself a new recruit in the fight against the dangerous First Order. Poe assigns him his first mission as a spy on Colossus Station on the ocean world of Castilon.
