In 2006, Stephanie’s 22-month-old daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease after constant bouts of sickness and vomiting.  When she started eating gluten-free (GF), she was no longer sick.  The entire family went GF at that point, and Stephanie began experimenting with GF cooking from scratch.  Crockpot cooking became the norm.  It was also at this point that she started blogging about her Crockpot recipes, which were also GF.
